Compare Lawsuit Loans was created to help plaintiffs navigate the pre-settlement funding industry. We hope that this website encourages plaintiffs to take the time to compare rates and terms and get the best deal possible on their lawsuit advance.
Over the course of the last two and a half decades, many lawsuit loan companies have taken advantage of the lack of regulation in the consumer litigation funding space. Many funding companies have misinformed customers and charged egregious rates on advances.
Competitive pressure is slowly changing the industry for the better. But, the industry is still fragmented. There is very little pricing transparency from many of the largest funding companies in the industry.
First and foremost, this website seeks to empower plaintiffs to make better financial decisions. We do this by informing plaintiffs and helping them compare funding options in a more meaningful, insightful, and effective manner.
Secondly, we hope to be a driving force for change in the industry. Our goal is to encourage companies to disclose information about rates and fees to plaintiffs upfront – even before they apply.
